Family Best Care is a family-owned home care agency. We match each caregiver to the person, prepare them before the first visit, and our office stays involved long after care begins.
How we prepare for a good fit
Before care begins, a nurse visits for a free assessment and builds a care plan around the person. Our caregivers then provide the daily, non-medical help that plan calls for.
Every caregiver goes through a background check, reference checks, and credential verification, then completes orientation on dignity, privacy, safety, and communication.
We match on skills, experience, personality, and your preferences. Your caregiver learns your care plan before the first visit.
We aim for one familiar caregiver or a small, steady team. If the fit doesn’t feel right, tell us and we’ll work on a better match.

Abigael Wangombe founded Family Best Care with a belief that people should feel known and respected in the care they receive. Caring Like Family means knowing that you like breakfast before getting dressed, that conversation makes lunch more enjoyable, or that you want to do as much as you can for yourself.
It also means taking your concerns seriously. You should be able to say what feels comfortable, what you would like done differently, and who you want involved in your care. We bring that understanding into caregiver preparation and support for the relationship over time.
